1. What is T-Short Project?

T-Short is the community of professionals and animated movie fans.

 

2. What is the age restriction for the community?

The project was created for an audience of 12+.

 

3. What films are allowed for public viewing?

T-Short allows animated short films with a running time up to 25 minutes (± 5 minutes).

 

4. What is the age limit for films?

T-Short allows posting and public viewing in the Film Gallery and Festival sections of only short animated films for adult audiences or films for all age categories.

T-Short doesn't target children's audience and doesn't allow movies or series that target children's audience.

 

5. What is the Film Gallery section?

Film Gallery is a collection of short animated films from A to Z for adult audiences or films for all age categories.

 

6. What opportunities do I have?

You can post information about yourself on the T-Short platform, create groups, take part in discussions, you can also create your own personal page design, following the recommendations of the project, as well as to design your personal page in your own style, and much more things.

 

7. Can I upload films to the Film Gallery or Festival section?

Certainly, you can upload the film if you are one of the film's creators or if you have all the rights to the film.

 

8. What happens if I upload a film to which I have no rights?

We'll delete the film from the section, you'll get a warning. If it happens for the second time, your account will be permanently blocked.

 

Answers to questions for professionals

 

1. How can I add a movie to the T-Short Gallery?

Since our resource is not a repository and we do not have a goal to collect a large number of any animation, our goal is to collect a collection of interesting, high-quality and artistically valuable animation works, therefore to be able to post films in the T-Short Gallery, you need to purchase a PRO-account or take part in the festival by passing the selection committee of the festival or pass the selection for the film battle.

 

2. Films must meet the following criteria:

a) an animated short film with a running time of 25 minutes or less (± 5 minutes);

b) T-Short allows posting and public viewing in the Film Gallery and Festival sections of only short animated films for adult audiences or films for all age categories.

N.B. T-Short doesn't target children's audience and doesn't allow movies or series that target children's audience.

c) the film must be finished and have a title and credits, except for music videos;

d) all films must be either in English or have embedded English subtitles;

e) uploaded films must be accompanied by as much information as possible;

f) the same film cannot be presented more than once, by different persons or under different titles;

g) the content of the films must not violate subparagraph 3 of paragraph 3 of this User Agreement.

Attention!

If it is noticed that the film doesn't meet the required parameters, the film can be removed.

 

3. Required encoding settings:

Video codec: H.264

Frame rate: 24 - 30 fps

Audio: AC3 or AAC

Bitrate:

1080p (1920 x 1080): up to 8000 Kbps

720p (1280 x 720): up to 4500 Kbps

Bizarre animation

If you have an Experimental, Surrealism, Abstract or Absurd film, this category is for you.

Life is Life

If you have a Fine Art, Philosophical, Tragedy, Drama, Melodrama, Love story, Fairy tale or Erotic movie, this category is for you.

Humorous shorts

If you have a Comedy, Tragicomedy, Black Humor, Adventure, Action, Fairy tale or Parable movie, this category is for you.

Gripping story

If you have an Action, Crime, Adventure, Fantasy, Mystery or Horror film, this category is for you.

Imaginarium

If you have a Fantasy, Fairy tale, Parable, Mystery, Thriller or Adventure movie, this category is for you.

Informative films

If you have a Documentary, Biography, Philosophical, Science or Educational film, this category is for you.

Musical motives

If you have a Music video or Musical film, this category is for you.

Serials

If you have a series, then by choosing the necessary sub category, you will definitely place your film in the series section.

 

5. What happens if the film does not meet the required criteria?

The T-Short administration has the right to delete unwanted and inappropriate videos without warning.

 

6. Where can I post movie trailers, animated objects, video art, sketches, etc.?

You can post any material that is not a short animated film, but is related to animation, in the Community section.

 

7. What are the goals of the T-Short project?

a) Making a collection of short animated films from A to Z on a platform designed specifically for this purpose.

b) Bringing together professionals and animation fans into one big community.

c) The introduction of young people into the world of professional animation of high artistic standards.

d) Popularization of non-commercial auteur, festival animated short films among the wide international audience.

e) Assisting authors, studios and educational institutions in promoting their projects.

 

8. What opportunities do I have?

You can post information about yourself on the T-Short platform, create groups, organize workshops, take part in discussions, you can also create your own personal page design, following the recommendations of the project, as well as to design your personal page in your own style, post the films and all the necessary information about these films, sell or rent the films and much more things.

 

9. How does T-Short differ from other video services?

The administration of T-Short will track and promote interesting works and encourage active, interesting users of the project, whether they represent studios, educational institutions, or they are independent authors.
