Paul O'Donoghue aka Ocusonic & Esoterica
Is an Irish composer/ audio visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland.
His practice is primarily focused on the visualisation of sound and to date has
shown internationally, as both installation and single screen fixed media, at more
than 300 separate events in festivals and galleries in 50 different countries.
His work explores a disparate collection of methods and techniques for the
creation of visual music, that includes composition, video editing, software
programming and voltage controlled video synthesis.
Underpinning many of these disciplines is Ocusonics, the real-time generation of
synchronous audio and visual material.
