ABOUT DIRECTOR
Leonid Shmelkov was born on 05/07/1982 in Moscow. Studied at Moscow State University of Printing (MGUP), specialty "Book illustration "in 2000-2005. In 2009 he graduated from the School-studio "SHAR"in the specialty "Animated film director". Winner of the Russian "Nika" Award in 2015. Winner of the Berlin Film Festival for the film "My Personal Moose" 2014.
Winner of more than 20 international film festivals
Currently works as a director, screenwriter, artist and animator, teacher and also draws illustrations for children's books
