SYNOPSIS
Letters and diary of director’s grandparents compose a dialogue over centuries. Eventually only one is left, who’s yearning is endless. Memories fade away, but the trace of the loved one is eternal.
ABOUT DIRECTOR
Mika Koskinen is Helsinki based freelancer animation director, animation artist and producer. Graduated from Turku Arts Academy in 2016. Koskinen has done different kind of animation projects and worked also in big international animation productions such as Moominvalley (Gutsy Animation). Previous films include Espresso Doppio (drawn animation, 3min 15 sec, 2015) and Crack (drawn animation, 4 min, 2017). Crack has won the Best Short Animation -award in Mexico and Russia and got a Special Mention in Ukraine 2018.
